M3CE Core Technology - Enterprise Collaborator Release and Features

This article will provide insights into the latest release and updates of Infor M3 - Enterprise Collaborator.


KB - 2309149: IEC - Display User and Timestamp on Custom Mappings in IEC 

Description: In environments where multiple developers are involved in creating IEC mappings, it's essential to track the latest updates to these mappings. This tracking is crucial for reference during investigation activities or when undertaking new development tasks.





KB - 2320674: IEC - Display Total Map Runtime

Description: Acknowledging the necessity for improved tracking capabilities, Infor IEC is introducing a functionality to log the total mapping execution runtime. Currently, users face challenges in efficiently measuring the time taken for complete mapping executions. To address this, a new feature has been incorporated to systematically log the total runtime for mapping executions. This enhancement is designed to offer users valuable insights into the performance of their integrations.



KB - 2309147: Fast Track M3 Inbound Processing in IEC

Description: Introducing a Fast Track Processing functionality within Infor IEC. This feature is designed to improve message handling by giving priority to high-priority inbound messages. Its goal is to ensure swift responses to critical data and to optimize workflows driven by data.




KB - 2294862: Support Split Redetect

Description: Incorporate File Splitting functionality into Infor Enterprise Collaborator (IEC) to improve data management efficiency. This feature will enable users to split large files into smaller segments, enhancing processing and distribution capabilities.






KB - 2288538: Modify Flat Records Process

Description: The Modify Flat Records process is now available to be used in Extensibility agreements.





KB - 2294863: Introduce Custom Flat Detection functionality in Infor Enterprise Collaborator (IEC) to enhance data integration capabilities.

IEC Detection Management - Use the Detection Management tab to manage settings for message detection.

Description: Detections contain one or more target groups. Each target group contains one or more targets. A target points out a unique path to the data in the receiving message.


KB - 2281102: The 32bit Business Document Mapper will be deprecated.


Description: Discontinue support for 32-bit Infor Business Document Mapper. Users are advised to download and upgrade to the latest 64-bit Business Document Mapper.




IEC - Feature Toggle Setting and Email setting: 


Description: There is a toggle available on the Enterprise Collaborator Administration page, specifically under Settings > Feature Toggle Setting and Email setting 


Feature Toggle Setting : 

1. feature.counter.store.cleanup - Indicates whether a scheduled task to clean up the counter store is enabled.

2. feature.fast.track.processing.any - Determines whether users are permitted to identify and set fast-track for ANY documents.

3. feature.fast.track.processing.bod.ordered - Indicates whether the user is permitted to identify and set fast-track for ordered BOD documents.

4.feature.file.to.file.transfer.bod - Determines if the File To File Transfer BOD process should be visible in the Process list when adding a Process.

5. feature.file.transfer.bod.to.file - Determines if the File Transfer BOD TO File process should be visible in the Process list when adding a Process.

6. feature.mapping.preload - Determines if mapping will be preloaded on process node startup. This setting will take effect on Process Node restart.



Email setting : 

Navigate to Enterprise Collaborator Administration > Settings > Email Setting.

In the Set Email Settings section, specify a Contact List, an IFS User ID, a Group ID, or a combination of these. You can input multiple email addresses, user IDs, and group IDs separated by commas. Click Update to save your changes.
